I spent some more time sanding the drips and runs of paint on the body. I spent around 1.5 hours on it and got most of the sanding done. I will still need to go over it again to check if I missed any areas.
I also sanded the paint down to the plastic on the seam between the 2 parts that was visible as a very thin gap. I'll weld the two parts together and hopefully be able to fill and sand the area well enough that it won't show when I get around to repainting the body.
