The kidnapper continues to toy with Sarah in this hidden object FMV game (with a lot more hidden object than FMV). Unless Sarah manages to evade him and gain the upper hand somehow. She'll have to gain access to new areas, pass the same way again, and unlock lots and lots of doors. Her search will take her to the old mental hospital and--hopefully--her kidnapped family. Who is this maniac? And was he involved in the disappearance of her father, the head of the asylum accused of performing illegal experiments, all those years ago?
This isn't the best hidden object game I've played but certainly not the worst. I like the horror theme and the FMV elements, but there is so little FMV, and chat seems to like that more than the still drawing that the cutscenes favor. The plot isn't especially complex. The game attained new heights of cardinal sinnery, however, when it combined the two most evil types of puzzles known to man and gave us a COLOR-BASED SLIDER PUZZLE. With a lot of help from chat, I stuck with it and actually solved it somehow! I did make liberal use of hints that other times though.
