Since we foiled her initial plan, the evil Dr. Pierce is o the run, looking a little worse for the wear, to the top of the Argent Tower. Her last chance to open a portal to hell. This stream features a lot of climbing and jumping and mantling. Which is quite fun, until you get to the "a lot of falling part" quite a way from the latest checkpoint. The game seems determined to make mutiple chonky mancubi the new standard.

The tower is taller than I would have thought, and it can be hard to see wehre to go at times. I also discovered that the game sometimes DOES have fall damage (fall death, rather) outside of the Bottomless Pits (tm). We pause for the odd rune trial, but Hayden keeps urging us on. This could end with us kiling pierce and saving the day, or with her opening the gates of hell. Why do I feel like, this early in the game, the odds are in her favor?
