Here is the quick live UV Filter vs No UV Filter on my beloved Panasonic Lumix G7 which shoot awesome 4K video so why let's get start with the Panasonic Lumix G7 video test.
Now the real the question is the UV Filter worth using or you should stop using the UV Filter.
As you can see I m using no filter on my Panasonic 25mm F/1.7 Lens and the image quality without the cheap UV filter. So when I put $5 UV Filter on my Panasonic Len's and there was no image quality difference so I can using UV Filter indoor for video is worth it.
Now here is why you should you use a UV Filter which is the protect the lens and use as lens protector. Now the question is Lens Protector vs No Lens Protector than I will say use Lens Protector if you make a lot of videos and need clean the lens from dirt which can cause scratches on the lens. If you clean the the UV Filter or Clear Filter than it will only damage the filter not the lens.
So I will be using the UV filter on my Panasonic Lumix DMC-G7.
