I got excited because I ended up doing pretty well for once on Standard difficulty in my new "no blocking" regimen! : D
The description for Survival Tournament had puzzled me but basically it's just that your health carries over between rounds--fights are still first-to-three rounds--but not between matches. This works pretty well! Things go a little faster and unless you're dominating so much you're hardly getting hit, you gotta be on your toes!
Man, it's so cool this game gives you all these alternate play modes. ^_^ And actually it's a good thing I'm playing without blocking, because since these aren't the toughest AIs these events would otherwise be too easy; with no blocking though they're a really good challenge!
