I like Yuri Sakazaki in KOF 2000 and even in Capcom vs. SNK Pro, but here in Capcom vs. SNK 2 on Dreamcast--playing All Survival mode!--aside from her medium jump kick and maybe a couple standing kicks (helped by my custom groove's Chain Combos) she feels awkward and sluggish! The often worse proximity normals she has here sure don't help, and the additional hit of her proximity uppercut totally confused my tiny brain. I make a lot of invalid complaints--her slaps thing and her follow-up uppercut to her strong uppercut are old moves from the NEOGEO days, for instance (jeepers I never even knew about her follow-up uppercut! but I swear the slaps feels newly weird and useless here)--but gosh dang it, Yuri's supposed to be a fun, fast character, and she doesn't feel like it here; I'm mostly reduced to chain combo custom groove kicks and just trying to keep what feel like faster, stronger foes at bay with her jumping fireball. And where's her dang tatsu? (As far as I can see from CvS FAQs, she doesn't have her tatsu in that game, either--which I guess means probably not in Pro.)

So although she's well animated and I like her colors--that three-kicks lime green!--I gotta scratch her from my list for this game, she just feels weak!
