Seemingly out of the blue, a stranger appears on the doorstep of the Investigators' rented house, claiming to be Captain Colonel Bacon and offering a boat ride to Bloodsworth Island, for a hefty price. Reluctantly, the trio agrees. They spend time shopping for essentials that will hopefully assist them in their quest to search the island for Dan Williams, although they are unaware of what dangers might lie ahead. Boarding the U.S.S. Booberry, a series of mishaps dampen the spirit of Jack and Roy, while D3t0x thrives during the short nighttime jaunt across the bay. Finally, they reach the island and make their way to the crumbling edifice that is Winoka Point Research Center...
