While we're here, might as well cover Tekken Advance. An oddity of a game, coming out on the GBA in 2001, it features nine regular characters from Tekken 3 (including Gun Jack as a regular fighter), while featuring Heihachi as the sole boss and hidden character of the game.
This game was always just oddity, and even back then it perplexed me as to why they even bothered with it. That said, it's actually not a half bad game at all. Decent graphics for the time, competent and responsive controls; it's honestly not a bad port on the whole. That said, by 2001 the PS1 was an old console, and it was probably cheaper to buy a PS1 and Tekken 3 than a brand new GBA and Tekken Advance. Unless you really had to have Tekken on the go, I guess. All in all, pretty good game, and Heihachi is as competent as ever, but this is certainly a video for the sake of thoroughness.
Next up, we finally go onto Tekken Tag.
