2Having recaptured OP Legacy and Bosquet Airport in the early hours of this morning, the five operating squads also managed to secure Arudy, La Pessagne and Dourdan before holding off a CSAT counter-attack from the south. With the full extent of our initial tasking remaining unfinished, found in our inability to assault the CSAT strongholds in the south, we will be re-deployed to conduct one final offensive on heavily-fortified enemy positions.
While the Malden Defence Forces continue to rebuild their presence in the northern territory, the 77th JSOC platoon will continue our southern advance as we aim to push CSAT off the island. Our five operating squads will be flown from Camp Jubilee to La Pessagne and Dourdan to reinforce the towns and, when able, disrupt enemy communications. The squads will later clear the CSAT strongholds in the south, outlined in more detail below. We fully expect CSAT to have taken the break in fighting to fortify their remaining strongholds and, potentially, setup ambush points along the MSRs. It is imperative that we break through their last defensive line to push them off the island permanently.
