Notes: I fought three dragons beforehand for a bit of extra SP.
Battle: After about 12 failed attempts, with several different team setups, I decided to use a Rune Knight, an Agent and a Banisher. Deafening Roar and lostpower.exe are mandatory for this battle, along with Poison Resistance.
Dragon Buster and Drain Sword deal a lot of damage in this battle, but my Dragon Buster was only upgraded to Lv. 1, so I missed out on a bit of extra damage.
Mayhem is much stronger now, and he has Silver Flash, which deals magic damage to all enemies and inflicts Paralysis (I didn't get Knight's Gaze for this battle, so that was slightly inconvenient).
A Fortuner with both Dynamic and Magic Negate can work here. Mages have too little LF for this, as Poison would wipe them out on Turn 2 (although in reality, they are great for healing and ailment removal).
Now that Mayhem is permanently defeated, the next target on our hit list is Haze.
