It's with new knowledge of the Original Cyclops Serial Killings that we continue on our day of investigation. The crime scene now examined, it's time to meet the families; to gather information, but also to offer our support, for the loss of a loved one is never easy to accept. From anger to deep sorrow, everyone carry the weight of grief in their own way, as we can do nothing else but watch hopelessly, and attempt a few questions in the least intrusive way possible...
Please note that it's also possible to interact with the mop at Matsushita Diner, with its tip being only barely visible on the very left edge of the screen. However, as with all the other objects in the room, it only carries the same basic description we've already seen before. Additionally, while Mayumi's name was greyed out at the end of that segment, her description had updated still to reflect her new stance. Interacting with her at that point in time would have read "Mayumi is crying."
