A Cheap and Effective Smartphone Vlogging Rig
32A cheap vlogging setup for your smartphone that won't break the bank.

The rig uses the following parts:
1. Shure VP83 Lenshopper Microphone - $200
You can use any 3.5mm microphone you wish. 3.5mm microphones are available from as low as $10. I switch between the shure VP83 and my Rode Video Micro.

2. 360 Mini Swivel Ball Head 1/4" Screw x 2 - $1.50 each
One ball head attaches the microphone to the mobile phone holder via a 1/4 to 1/4 screw adapter. The other goes to the back of the mobile phone holder and connects to the tripod.

3. 1/4" Male to 1/4" Male Camera Screw Adapter - $0.68
Connects the top ball head to the smartphone holder.

4. Smartphone holder with two tripod threads - $0.93

5. Cullmann Magnesit Copter CB2.7 with ball head CROSS CB2.7 - Around £25 / $30
You can use any tripod you wish. I like this one because it's strong and the ballhead is good. I can hold it straight and then sit the rig down whenever I want.
