A Combo-based 2D Hack & Slash | SoulQuest demo
2Hello everyone! More demos incoming here. This is SoulQuest, a combo-based 2d hack & slash with pixel art. It looks pretty retro, but the combat is quite smooth. There is a combo system, where you get a higher score depending on the combination of different attacks (and not getting hit also). The game also count with an upgrade system, where you can get different platforming skills, extra HP and learn new moves. Although, you start with way too many different moves in my opinion and it is difficult to learn them all right from the start.
My main complain would be the inability of interrupting an attack, if you perform one of your special moves, you can't interrupt it 'till is over, leaving you exposed to so many different attacks. I would also like to see a perfect dash mechanic into the game.
