It's the moment we've all been waiting for! We are MOVING IN! We have water, we have beds, we have power so nothing is holding us back and spend a first amazing week getting to know our new farm in Portugal. But, it's not all smooth sailing and it looks like the weeks ahead will be full of challenges.

We are the Newbys, John, Tara, and our two little boys Crusoe and Sawyer. We’re a family who are pursuing an alternative lifestyle, and after two years of full time travel we’ve taken root on an abandoned farm in Northern Portugal which we’re renovating into our dream off-grid homestead.
