First off, I’m sorry its 2 days late… I’ve been soooooo busy again. But lets get season 3 started!!!!!

You know that saying “the bigger they are, the harder they fall?” Well in this case, it was more of “the bigger they are, the more bones they break.” But for Delta Squad, the bigger you were, the more fun it was to watch you blow up.

I couldn’t go another game without heading back into the Gears of War world and you know what? It didn’t disappoint.

I’m gonna be totally honest, I don’t remember much of the story… again. The Queen is back… somehow, so is Marcus’ dad… somehow. These guys are yellow now, giant monsters and zombies… I think, but before we get into the rest of the story, let’s start with some of the things I didn’t like… as always, these aren’t real issues, I just some stuff I noticed and didn’t really care for.

Let’s start with this, it happened like 10 or 12 times and was really annoying… moving on!

For me, much like Gears 2, this story was forgettable, but that doesn’t mean it was bad game. There are moments I’ll always remember, but it comes to the how and why this things are taking place, I honestly couldn’t tell you. It was like, you have to go to this place to get this thing or talk to this person because… reasons. I don’t know.

The other small things were doing chores with the loader, I thought it was gonna fun and awesome but it wasn’t. Just slow and not awesome and the whole underwater kinda seemed out of place to me, like it just something they really wanted to include in the game for whatever reason, I don’t know, probably doesn’t make sense but to me, it seemed a little unnecessary, also introducing Ice T’s character just for nothing happening with him afterwards was odd. Moving on!

With all that being said, Gears of War 3 was so much fun. Quick intro’s for new characters and new enemies, this game wasted little time putting you right into the fight and didn't stop until you sawed, stomped, blew up and burned everything in sight.

The voice acting was really good, so was the music and visuals and the sound effects. From Finally getting to play as Cole which was such a huge bonus for me because he’s my favorite character and was absolutely hilarious, to Dom saving the day in the most badass way possible, Gears of War is gonna have a special place in my mind and I’m happy to give Gears 3, a solid 8/10.

The “shoot until everything stops moving, blow it to hell just because we can” type of gameplay is going to make Gears of War 3 one of my favorite games of all time and I can’t wait to see how the epic series continues from here… but… for now… it’s time for a different kind of fight… between knights and monsters… The Order: 1886.
