I'm of two minds about this stream. On the one hand, it did end up being about as short as I was hoping it would be. But it took a lot more work to actually wrap up Robbit Mon Dieu's main campaign than I was expecting, so I didn't get as much time goofing around with some extra missions for laughs. Oh well, at least I managed to do a couple more missions anyway.

I think the sad part about this whole thing is that I might have ended up spending less time on that stage that ended up scuttering my plans to beat Robbit Mon Dieu in a single stream in this session than I did last time. Like, I beat that sucker in around 10 minutes. The thing is, that was a mercy. Because I ended up spending well over an hour trying to figure out how to topple the final boss. At least the stage that served as my Waterloo gave me the dignity of halting me with a challenge I knew I could get through with enough stamina. The final boss fight... might actually just be the hardest one in the entire series. Two forms, a massive health bar and Robbit can literally only hold a single special weapon at a time... and as far as I can tell, there's only one other one that can be collected within the stage itself... and even that requires precise platforming to collect.

It's just an extreme shift in tone compared to the previous levels that were kind of chill, honestly. Robbit goes from taking a little boy to school all the way to fighting a giant space worm. It's nuts and it really makes me wish that someone would do some kind of a fan translation for this game. I feel like I'm missing way too much context to fully appreciate this, even if I did enjoy what little I was able to gleam from the voice acting in a language I don't remotely understand. Granted, I think the cutscenes might have been performed in-engine, so subtitling them might be too difficult.

Either way, fun game. I don't regret playing it one bit, I just wish I could've appreciated it a bit more. As such, I'm essentially done with the Jumping Flash! series... at least in terms of livestreams. I am considering doing something else with these games in the future, but you'll just have to wait and see if it comes to pass...
