0Welcome to my Let's Play series with the game A House Of Many Doors by Pixel Trickery where you are a captain of a skittering kinetopede travelling around a vast parasite-dimension called the house where we are trying to escape this otherworldly expanse with our vehicle, crew and hopefully our sanity intact!
This game is highly influenced by the likes of Sunless Sea, Planescape: Torment and FTL so expect a lot of reading, bad decision making and eventual death. Just another standard let's play then for me!
In this episode after writing out 3 PAGES OF DATA about the game as it currently stands with ourselves, (be it the cargo and information we have at our disposal) and HOPING TO FIND OUT what it all means in the grand scheme of things I was hoping to have a definitive answer as to where we should go and what we should be doing... but I don't. The reason being is there isn't too much information on the game out there bar from the basics so I guess we'll just be winging it to the fateful, (and possibly very near) end. That being said we do have some direction to follow as long as we have passengers so we start by scouting our the City of Angels, (not L.A. sadly) before deciding to head back to the City of Keys with all the info and loot we can carry. But, as it so happens with most games I play, we get distracted by the sheer number of random encounters we come across between the capital and the City of Knives, one which indeed leads to a curse of cockroaches but also several which rewards us for our curiosity!!
But does curiosity kill the Padg? Let's find out!!
