A Place, Forbidden [ONLY] The Library is Open
NOTE: This is the full, finished game. To see my video of the version on the demo disk, see here: https://youtu.be/5IwtPnI5yuA
This was a cool, atmospheric game. I liked the progression of the appearance of the library (and how it as an additional story to the version in the demo disk, not a continuation of that, if that makes sense). The puzzles worked for me, but I did have trouble with a few things, like noticing the lock on the window and the recluse letter puzzle. For the puzzle, I think part of the issue was assuming that I had to insert all of the cards, not realizing that I didn't need to insert them all. Its similarity to the previous puzzle probably harmed my understanding in that regard.
But all in all, a fun time. I do appreciate a good puzzle game, and the atmosphere really added to it.
I'm not sure if there were multiple endings (the ending dialogue made me think that there were, then that there weren't, so who knows).
