A Plague Tale: Innocence (Chapter III) in Virtual Reality is absolutely insane!
I have to start of by saying the actual quality is far better when you play it yourself. This footage goes through 2 filters/codecs before it gets uploaded to YouTube where it goes through another one. I compared the different transitions and the degradation is quite noticeable. So this video is primarily about the game play and the 3d effect. In the future when I have uncapped internet and better hardware I would definitely upload more polished videos. But by that time these games might not be supported like it is now. Which is why I consider to upload full play-throughs. It would be sad not to be able to play it like this again. It helps to lower the screen size if you don't like the quality.
This game truly impressed me! Would definitely add it to my top recommended games to try. When you start you simply don't want to stop. And that is one of the core attributes of an excellent game. To me personally. It might be a bit too linear. But this might be the only way to push so much detail into the scenes. Otherwise you overload your hardware.
You truly get a feeling of the 1300s. The amount of detail they've placed into this game is what made this one of the most immersive experiences I've had in a while. There was so much diversity and this is something I love about games. You know, when you start noticing objects that were simply copied and pasted it starts to break the diversity and immersion. You will notice I stop and stare at everything. I really felt immersed and amazed. I really cant believe the developers of this game never looked into VR. Such a pity. That is why you who play these games could help by supporting the developers and fixers. If you do like these videos or game you could support them through donations on Paypal. If you would like to help this type of gaming please share with your friends and give this a thumbs up.

Stop watching if you experience motion sickness or dizziness!
My recommended settings to start from:
3D Options: Full SBS (F6)
Screen Size: 55° for 67mm IPD. (Please lower if you experience eye fatigue and also when you find the quality is too poor).
Screen Distance: 7m
Screen Brightness: 10-15%
Screen Curve: 72%
Open VR Options - Super Sampling: 2.4
Please support Helix Vision to bring more games like this to VR.
https://store.steampowered.com/app/1127310/HelixVision/
Please take note that it currently only works with nVidia GPUs.
Also only with 20xx series GPUs and older.
On 30xx series GPU's only partial support for DX9 games and some OpenGL.
DX12 is not supported and might never be.
The last driver that supported 3DVision was 452.06. Most drivers prior to this could still work. I personally recommend 451.48.
The last officially supported nVidia driver was on win10 1809 with 425.
This is very important.
Vulcan is on the horizon by Helifax's efforts and succeeding very well.
