There are some tricks to get this working correctly with Helix Vision. Its not on their curated list so please dont bug them with it when you cant get it to work. The purpose of this video is primarily to bring awareness to Stereo-Scopic gaming.


In the "nVidia 3d settings" tab from the main "Settings" tab: "3D mode enabled in windowed mode (dx9 only)" should be deactivated. The fix is also not necessary since it appears they've made it 3d vision ready. So dont install it from the "Play" tab as noted.


In the "Display profiles" tab under "VR profile" - "Game settings for VR mode" : it appears to help with desktop window manager bugs. So set the game resolution and the desktop resolution to match your setup. I set mine both to 1080p. Leave 3D display Type on (Anaglyph 3D) unless you own a 3d Vision setup.


Thats about it. There is a known bug in the puzzles that I've cut from this video. So the experience isnt flawless but still very good apart from this.

Please take note that currently it only works with nVidia GPUs.
It is possible with Tridef but a bit buggy (for AMD gpus).

It currently only works with 20xx series GPUs and older.
Since it is dx9 you might get way with 30 series card and later.

(On 30xx series GPU's only partial support for DX9 games and some OpenGL)
The last driver that supported 3DVision was 452.06. Most drivers prior to this could still work. I personally recommend 451.48.
