Around 19 hours 18 minutes to beat. I took alot of breaks, thus forgetting game mechanics, like how to kill armored enemies, etc. Almost knocked this one down to easy mode just to get it over with, but stuck with Normal Mode. While I really liked the presentation, awesome sound, the pacing with too many death puzzles and forced stealth, clunky combat made the game very irritating to me overall. Still a big improvement over the first game. Much more content, and the presentation is extremely high quality. Not really my kind of game.
Was testing some new headphones, Audeze Maxwell Wireless. Awesome sounding with those. Tight bass and super clear sound. Good Atmos headphone test, and it was in my backlog. I have a full Atmos surround system through a reciever, ceiling speakers, etc, but wanted to see how close headphones can get to that experience. I dont think you can ever replace a full surround set up, but its becoming a real nice alternative sometimes. Big improvement over the Razer Black Sharks, wired headphones I was using. Biggest difference being the clarity and detail in all the sound. The sound has alot more texture instead of being flatter. Bass is not as vibration heavy but its a very tight potent bass hit. Still have to fuck around with the equalisers and that may further increase the bass punch. Havent turned up bass yet.
