A Space for the Unbound with Yuzu vs Ryujinx & Best Emulator Settings
Emulator performance comparison of A Space for the Unbound for Switch using both Yuzu Early Access 3322 and Ryujinx 1.1.589 on a fairly modern gaming desktop.
The game performs well on both emulators, so we ran it at 2x resolution upscale test on both emulators.
Due to missing hearts when petting cats, I recommend playing this one on Ryujinx for now, but both emulators run it every smoothly...the difference is most likely quite minor... but still, think of the cats!
Best settings found so far:
YUZU Configuration:
Vulkan
Docked mode
vSync On
Base configuration as set in best settings here: https://youtu.be/vgRNxcrh0Xw
2X Resolution Upscaling
Nothing needed to run at 60fps, you can even unlock the frame limiter and run it a hundreds of fps if you want but I didn't record it. Walking, talking and menus seemed fine so far.
Ryujinx Configuration:
Vulkan
Docked mode
vSync On
Base configuration is set to Ryujinx defaults
2X Resolution Upscaling best middle ground for performance for me
Nothing needed to run at 60fps, you can even unlock the frame limiter and run it a hundreds of fps if you want but I didn't record it. Walking, talking and menus seemed fine so far.
