Fire Emblem Engage - Yuzu vs Ryujinx & Best Emulator Settings
Emulator performance comparison of Fire Emblem Engage for Switch using both Yuzu Early Access 3314 and Ryujinx 1.1.570 on a fairly modern gaming desktop. Since it performed so well, I also did a 3x resolution upscale test and applied a 60fps mod to both emulators.
Recommend to use Ryujinx for this game - but both emulators are very capable. Yuzu crashed for me while Ryujinx didn't.
Best settings found so far:
YUZU Configuration:
Vulkan (smoother but minimal graphic glitches) and OpenGL (less glitches but more stutter)
Docked mode
Base configuration as set in best settings here: https://youtu.be/vgRNxcrh0Xw
2X Resolution Upscaling best middle ground for performance for me
Tested 60 FPS mod (speed walking and turbo menus, not recommended)
Ryujinx Configuration:
Vulkan
Docked mode
vSync On
Base configuration is set to default
2X Resolution Upscaling best middle ground for performance for me
