This is the third game in a row that is having technical difficulties that prevent me from playing it, or is not a vomit inducing pile of wank. Enjoy I suppose.
+Splending audio design
+Entertaining story and setting
+Great atmosphere
+Superb Options Menu
+Did I mention the amazing audio design??
+Post Processing options separate and able to be turned off
-Horrible performance
-Frequent crashes (Read below)
-Incoherent gameplay and instruction
-Easy to get lost in the world
-Chromatic aberration while sprinting cannot be turned off
I am going to have to thumb this game down because of the sole reason that it keeps crashing after the first level loading screen. After that the game takes me back in the beginning. Which is a shame because this seemed like a great prospect. Here are some more thoughts;
I loved the audio design of the game. The music, the ambient noises, the stricture of the atmosphere, everything is very well put together and I have a great deal of respect for that.
Graphically the game will not turn heads, but it is a very well put together world that immerses the player in it.
The ultrawide support was flawless from what I could see. Overall the developers put the effort in the options menu for the game and that deserves a shoutout at least.
Sadly the game is broken, and when it is not, there is not much substance to be offered as far as gameplay is concerned. This is yet another slender type game. Considering the time frame that the game was released, those games were already getting tiresome. I would have preferred a simple linear walking simulator story aspect only.
