Abandoned Places - A Time For Heroes - Longplay 002 - Heaven's Light
Abandoned Places - A Time For Heroes was developed by the Hungarian development studio ArtGames and published by Electronic Zoo (at least the Amiga version in Europe) in 1992. Mobygames lists International Computer Entertainment Ltd. as publisher. I guess this applies to the IBM PC version.
It is a grid-based dungeon crawler in the vein of games like Dungeon Master and Eye of the Beholder. Admittedly, it does not reach the same quality standard as both aforementioned games, and thus is always considered as mediocre. However, I had a lot of fun playing through this game.
The second video shows the first dungeon of the game - Heaven's Light. Our heroes have been resurrected in order to fight the rising evil in the land of Kalynthia. Of course, the rising evil has a name. It's name is Bronakh. However, it will take some time until we finally meet him.
