Ace Combat X: Skies of Deception - Mission 11A: In Pursuit I
2Only one thing left to do before Griswall, and that's clearing the jamming in the area, thus we're off to Mt. Nevera to destroy the aptly-named Nevera Jammer!
This is a solo mission that's pretty quiet, letting you focus on the environment, the great soundtrack, and the search for the four real electrical plants powering up the enemy's defense system while jamming gets in your way. Take notes of their positions whenever the jamming briefly clears and you can also follow the power lines to the facilities.
Some enemies fly around but they can't lock on to you any more than you can lock on to them, so even a heavier plane like the Fregata will do the job well. Once the four real facilities are destroyed, you can approach the Jammer itself which is composed of six big devices, destroying them clears the mission instantly and one well-placed FAEB is enough to do that.
A Star CH-47 and the F-117 Ace "Inferno" also appear when the enemy defenses are down but you still have to contend with the jamming and it wouldn't have been very interesting to watch, though I might have caught the CH-47 in the FAEB's blast according to the debriefing...
