The AC5-ACZ aircraft porting project is complete! All the 20 planes that were available in Ace Combat 5: The Unsung War but not in Ace Combat Zero: The Belkan War can now be used!.

After some months of research I figured how to make ACZ load the aircraft data from AC5. Luckily for me both games seem to use the same engine (or at least, ACZ's is a modified/improved version of the one used in AC5) and same file formats for almost all of their data, which easened a lot the porting process.

The aircraft files also comes with custom liveries besides the deafult one (Cipher's livery design) as well the original liveries used in AC5.

The mods are only compatible with the NTSC-U version of Ace Combat Zero: The Belkan War (SLUS-21346) for now, but I do plan to extend this compatibility to the european/japanese/other regions version of the game eventually.
