Here is a video of whats inside the Acer Iconia W4 Windows 8.1 tablet.
To open the back panel up you will need a flatbed screwdriver which you will have to insert into the slight gap on top of the screen and pry the back-panel open.
Sorry guys, I am not taking that metal RF shielding off because its soldiered onto the motherboard.

YES Unfortunately no mSATA SSD :( the SSD is directly soldiered onto the motherboard so there is no way to upgrade it.
