Menu program of the "Action CD" compilation released by Microïds in 1994. Graphical, mouse-driven DOS program with music and game manuals in 3 languages. All games cointained are developed by Microïds.

I purchased this compilation almost 17 years ago, and it was the first actual game box I bought in a store as a kid. The CD was contained in another compilation called "Action Pack", probably also released by Microïds. Apart from this Action CD with 7 Microïds games, it also contained the Microprose compilation "Power Game II" which offers Indianapolis 500, Jetfighter, and Gunship 2000. Power Game II came with a big (more than 100 pages) panorama-format manual, and if I remember correctly the Action CD was accompanied by a little photocopied booklet with instructions as well. Unfortunately, I am currently unable to find these manuals; I hope they're still around here somewhere! The compilation was released in France, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, the UK, and probably other European countries.

This "Action Pack" compilation is really special to me because these were among the first computer games I ever played. If anyone has more information on the box, or maybe even still has it laying around at home, please contact me! Especially if you would be able to provide scans of the covers and manuals. I don't believe I still have the box, unfortunately.

Games contained in the compilation: Killerball, Swap, Nicky Boom, Nicky 2, Carlos, Grand Prix 500 2, Super Ski II. Languages available: English, French, German.
