Contra Operation Galuga is the first traditional 2D gameplay focused Contra game since Hard Corps Uprising back in 2011. Developed by Wayforward whom also worked on Contra 4 for DS back in 2007.
This video showcases how all of the mid-level/end of level bosses can getting demolished very quickly by Browny's weapon combo.
There's basic and alternative versions for firing/overloading a weapon, Browny is one of the two characters (the other is Brad Fang) to have alternative firing H weapon which is Homing Laser. When the player can dual wield two homing lasers, it dishes out insane damage per second to the point it obliterates most of the bosses.
The final boss is where the weapon struggles as it doesn't track onto the red eyes but it can track on to the final brain eye, so usually at that point Browny goes for Crush+Spread or Crush2+Crush1 as the damage is notably faster.
Combine an insane homing weapon along with the best mobility kit in the game with triple jumps, grapple and forward dash, a lot of speedrunners including myself can agree that Browny is by far the best character despite having only 2 base HP.
