Aethermancer Early Access Playthrough 15 | Non-Stop Attacks With Summon Sidekick
I wanted to make a Wisp Summon team with an Age focus but my path just ended up with me caving in and getting Impunudu lol All Summon paths will lead to somewhere but without Clone Summoning or Free Summoning all Summon paths will end up really bad. This is because you're gonna end up focusing on other traits instead of summon due to how much investment you need to make summon a main build for your run.
I do feel like summoning needs a little tweak with how many summon traits they need to become good. I would change how Clone Summoning works mainly because dropping the essence count is unnecessary and since On Hit effects don't work on Summons, the drop in essence seems unneeded.
The requirement also to make a summon deal a lot of damage requires stacks such as requiring losing sidekick to hit twice, needing regeneration for Ammit, and building up Age, Burn, Weakness, and Aether there's just too much needed to make it work for it to be used as a core team in a run.
Especially when the weight value for the damage summons in all the current summoners available are at the bottom value to get them to appear. Right now Summons should be seen as a substitute build if you can't focus on building the other perks your monster has. But this won't stop me from showcasing how good and fun they can be!
