The Princess of Wales's Royal Regiment is on exercise in Kenya.

The 2nd Battalion has spent the last two years performing ceremonial duties but are now getting back to their infantry role on Exercise Askari Thunder.

One thousand soldiers are living in the field and will fire £3 million worth of live and blank ammo over six weeks.
