Elected representatives from the Falklands have been to the United Nations in New York to defend their right to remain British as Argentina renewed its claim on the islands.

They are no strangers to the UN Decolonisation committee, but this year's meetings come off the back of a referendum which clearly demonstrated the islanders' wishes.
