Age Of Empires II HD Edition Hard - Saladin Campaign - 5. Jihad!
There are several ways to win this level, and a couple are probably easier than the one I chose, do whatever suits you, but I'll only talk you through a couple. A Relic victory is possible (probably the easiest) as well as a Wonder victory or by defeating any two of the three major opponents. I'm going for a conquest victory, and probably the easiest of the three combinations.
Tyre is probably worth ignoring, I think it's best to build outside of the starting area and Tyre will eventually destroy the leftovers inside, as they are largely naval based. Their land attacks are rather small for the most part, so are of little concern.
Once the Tripoli Guard have attacked you (and died), you should work on getting to the Imperial Age and getting an attack force on Ascalon. Ascalon don't train units, and only the three villagers near the Wonder need to be killed to resign them. When you attack they will send everything at you, so be ready to be hit with Onagers and their Archers. Their Navy shouldn't be able to reach you.
If you're going for a Relic Victory, it's probably better to smash and grab Tiberias first when in the Castle Age. A few Rams and regular Mamelukes should take down the required fortifications to get a Monk in and out. The other Relic is safely near your ally.
However, as I planned on eliminating Tiberias, I had to deal with his fully upgraded Paladins, and his own Siege which he seemed to use in annoying positions for an AI.
Elite Mamelukes focus firing on Paladins will kill them before getting damaged, and Trebuchets can bombard them from afar.
I missed out on a decent sized Gold Mine to the west, but it probably wouldn't have been worth going for unless I wanted to eliminate Tyre, which is very feasible given the Naval bonuses of the Saracens.
