This world we are living in, has a self obsessed culture, that promotes the pride of life, lust of the eyes and lust of the flesh.
Us Christians, should be going in the opposite direction to the sinful pride of this temporary world.
The Lord Jesus, although being God in the flesh, didn’t use that as a way of showing off, and he wasn’t full of self importance either.
He came as the suffering servant.
This is a bit comical, but this short of Mike O Hearn and Logan Chitwood, is a typical example of vanity… God bless them, I sometimes watch vids of theirs.
But, when he returns, because he already laid down his life for the sins of mankind, will return as a warrior king.
And he expects his children, to be humbled and built up in him.
Pride comes before a fall, but the Lord has greater things than this waiting for those who love him.
Certainly, as I’ve grown older, it has humbled me a lot, as I know I won’t be young forever…
*Allow the Lord to humble you, and build you up in Christ. Pray also, for this entire generation and every to come, to be humbled under God’s almighty hand, Amen.*
