Just beating the AI as fast as I can with champions leading the way, difficulty is 9/9 and settings help with finishing quickly, cheese is not total though, could have disabled ships.

Realtime is about 50 minutes, could be done faster realtime, but ingame time would suffer. Ingame could be done faster too, as cheese wasn't total, and I had some mistakes, but I'm happy with sub 15' (went down all the way from 2 hours :P).

Getting the golem speeded my game afaik, I used to do 3 minutes slower without one. Artillery is great for the main forcefields and quickly taking care of Orbital Mass Drivers, but Cursed Golems and Armored Golems can also be given a use.

First time I went for metal harvesters upgrades first, I used to start with Command Stations, I believe they worked great for getting the golem earlier.
