After trying to figure out if this was an issue with the capture card or with OBS, to my amusement, it was Windows all along.

I had to change the audio settings in Windows to set Recording as the default audio output when recording the videos using OBS. I recorded a new video using my gameplay with the Monster Hunter Rise demo, and lo and behold, that annoying audio delay is gone!

I must say, after playing around with the settings, everything turned out well. I'm looking forward to record more gameplay videos using this gem I found in Lazada...that is until I get an Elgato.
