Aliens versus Predator Classic 2000 Gameplay - Cheat Mode 10: MotionBlur
2The tenth Cheat Mode available is "MotionBlur", which was supposed to make the screen more diffuse, as if there were a "fog of war" in the environment. However, the visual effects in this version of the game worked incorrectly, and the Episodes are basically unplayable with this effect on. This problem also affected the "TripTastic" mode, but at least in that mode the lighting problem wasn't as critical since the effect from the "DiscoInferno" mode gave some lighting to the dark areas. In this mode, nevertheless, the player may have to wander blindly in the dark, like it happened to me when I played Temple with the Alien. I would say that the Predator is the least affected species out of the three by this problem, but the nasty black background that surrounds any lightbulb becomes annoying for all three species.
We are halfway there with the Cheat Modes, so be prepared for more.
