Aliens vs Predator | Rescue 9-1-Freeman | No Failure Run
Not as fitting as the Space Disaster one, architecturally, but the mini stealth section at the end feels like it'd fit right at home with the Yautja's playstyle. More of the sneaky hunter sort. I do find it fun that trophies in this "class" gives you armor than just "show off points". Gives more incentive for players to collect. You might notice the HUD here being slightly different to the Marine run. That's pretty much my doing. Have to swap the definitions manually in the sprites folder before such runs.
Not sure what I can do to imply the number 0 for the HUD, but the symbol I picked feels okay enough for the moment. Just imagining the shenanigans that I'll have to come up with for when I do the Xeno run, goodness. The new version did actually have unique definitions for HUDs that a mapper can pick with an entity, but well, I've already mentioned why I'm not playing that one.
Yeah, I'm aware that the scientist at the end acts a bit awkward. None of the NPCs in this mod can follow the player, so they'll either just stand still or cower away. The scientists in particular are set to cower away from the player, likely 'cause they're designed to be put in the Yautja campaigns than the Marines. This mapset got away with setting the scientist to run entirely with scripted sequences, though even that's a bit touch and go at the end.
