All The Spider-Men We Might See In No Way Home
3,967By the time this third movie comes out, you might have been rumored to have been cast in it. No one has had quite as many variations as the humble genius kid from Queens who got a little too curious at a science lab one day and ended up getting spider-powers from a radioactive spider bite instead of radiation sickness. His gain was our gain as the wall-crawler became one of the most popular comic book characters of all time, eventually being featured in nine live-action movies with a tenth and eleventh on the way. This live-action movie might have more in common with its Oscar-winning animated cousin than the previous outings of New York’s favorite freelance photographer and crime fighter. The password for the MCU phase IV appears to be ‘multiverse’ where different variations of heroes and villains go about living entirely different but eerily similar lives. No one has taken to the multiverse quite like ol’ webhead. It’s not just limited to different Peters either. There are children, there are admirers, there’s people created to be foes but become friends, and then there are even things that were supposed to be jokes but would be just too fun to pass up. Clones like Ben Rielly, out-of-time totems like Miguel O’Hara, or fans who take up the mantle like Miles Morales could stand side by side with the MCU’s arachnid-themed crime fighter to fight the multiverse and make it safe for Spider-totems everywhere.
