Alone Demo - Control a Variety of Robots in this Teamwork-Based Puzzle-Platformer
A demo playthrough of Alone, a minimalistic puzzle-platformer that focuses on using a variety of robots to overcome obstacles and reach the exit. Each gets used in a variety of ways, such stacking to serve as platforms, spring off other bots to get higher, bots with inverted gravity, and bullet bots. It focuses on switching between bots as needed for the current problem. You can self destruct all robots or just the one you control, which is one way to start over or reset an individual bot to further progress.
This video covers the first 30 levels of the tutorial. Most rooms are straightforward although ones where self-destructing to progress is necessary did initially throw me for a loop. Overall, the pacing seems good and it should be interesting to see what harder puzzles get thrown in.
