First and foremost, as it is Hamauzu-loving hours around here 24/7, I hope Hamauzu is working on the Rebirth OST PLEASE I NEED HIM IN MY LIFE FOREVER AND ALWAYS 😭😭😭

This is a short, absolutely lovely track that plays during one of the cutscenes exclusive to Remake, when Tifa sees a vision/flashback of Marlene in the train graveyard. That whole train graveyard segment is a WONDERFUL swath of nonstop Hamauzu in Remake, and this track really stood out to me for those lush harmonies and extended chords he's so known for, especially when he's tasked to score emotionally charged moments, like The Promise, Atonement, Dust to Dust, Promised Eternity, and that's just FFXIII we haven't even touched Dirge HE'S DONE SO MANY GREAT THEMES I'M JUST GONNA ROLL MY FACE INTO THE KEYBOARD KJHDSFDSJHFKDFKJ ❤️❤️😭😭😭 The original is strings and solo flute, but in true reductionist style I did my best trying to capture all those gorgeous chords in two hands hahaha.
Talk to me about vidya games guys there were so many exciting announcements yesterday omg and even though I don't go there I'm happy for all you Mario and F-Zero people, and if there was only one SaGa Scarlet Grace fan on earth that would be me, going nuts by my lonesome over Emerald Beyond 😂😂😂😂 I love that there's still a little quirky pocket of Square keeping it real like they did in the 90s, investing in fringe series like SaGa and making weirdly awesome little one-off VNs like Paranormasight and farming sims like Harvestella. It's why I'll continue to show up for Team Asano even when they don't stick the landing lol, I believe so much in what they're doing.
Anyways this was a short thing, because I am all up in my FF7 hype!!!.... and also because I am working on a more intense thing that I am hoping to get out by September 28 or close to it....lol...
