ALONE IN SPACE | Tacoma Playthrough - Part 1
Hey everybody! Welcome to my Tacoma Playthrough, we start off in a space ship with a friendly AI named Minnie and we are pulling into a giant space station. It seems abandoned and damaged. When we first enter we get into a room that hooks us up with the ships built in augmented reality. I am tasked with finding all of the data access points and I assume recording what happened here. I head down to the personnel area first and immediately find the point I need and hook up to it. It turns out I cannot transmit messages back but while hooked up they can transfer messages to me. While waiting for the data transfer I go explore around and this is where I get to see, using the augmented reality I assume, the crew during the time things went wrong. I follow them all around watching the moment and gaining information about each of them. I am not sure what exactly happened here but I am very intrigued to find out!
Tacoma is a narrative adventure set aboard a high-tech space station in the year 2088. As you go about your mission, you’ll explore every detail of how the station’s crew lived and worked, finding the clues that add up to a gripping story of trust, fear, and resolve in the face of disaster. At the heart of Tacoma is the facility’s digital surveillance system, which has captured 3D recordings of pivotal moments in the crew’s life on the station. As you explore, echoes of these captured moments surround you. You’ll use your ability to rewind, fast-forward, and move through the physical space of these complex, interwoven scenes to examine events from every angle, reconstructing the multi-layered narrative as you explore.
