GONE TOO FAR | God Of War Playthrough - Part 24
Hey everybody! Welcome back to my God Of War playthrough, we are almost back to the top of the mountain with the key to the realm of the giants in hand it seems like nothing will stop us but I am very wrong. Once we reach the top and open the gateway Baldur shows up and when Kratos tells Atreus to leave his new attitude stops him from listening. The gateway gets smashed in the scuffle and when Kratos starts yelling at Atreus to leave he shoots Kratos with an arrow and tries to take on Baldur himself but it of course doesn't end well for him. Baldur takes off with Atreus and Kratos jumps off after them landing on the back of a dragon and continuing the fight. We end up back in the realm room at Tyr's temple and manage to stop Baldur but in the process get us all sucked into Helheim. Once inside we find Atreus nearby and Kratos gives him an earfull rightfully so and now we need to find our way out. On our way we find Baldur being taunted by the hallucinations of Hel. Once we get to a dock we manage to get the sail up and heading back to Try's temple. The temple is up so Kratos releases the sails and lights some Hel fires which gets the boat flying. After several attacks we finally reach the temple and find another way to the realm of the giants. Things seem to be working out again and Atreus may have learned his lesson but only time will tell!
His vengeance against the gods of Olympus far behind him, Kratos now lives as a man in the lands of Norse Gods and monsters. It is in this harsh, unforgiving world that he must fight to survive… and teach his son to do the same. As mentor and protector to a son determined to earn his respect, Kratos is faced with an unexpected opportunity to master the rage that has long defined him. Questioning the dark lineage he’s passed on to his son, he hopes to make amends for the shortcomings of his past. Set within the untamed forests, mountains, and realms of Norse lore, God of War features a distinctly new setting with its own pantheon of creatures, monsters, and gods.
