Meh. Sloppy.
I thought things were going my way when I turned in Mushroom early and got boots into hammer, but then the mistakes started....slowly at first, then faster...
Cleared Moldorm b/c green pendant, skipped the basement chest, I don't really regret either of those two decisions. Did just fine against Mothula, decided to chain bumper cave (tempered) into GYL and Catfish (which I had accidentally forgotten to do).
At this point instead of finishing TT and VoO I decided to jump straight to IP since I could do icebreaker and I felt OK doing it with blue mail and tempered. I figured nothing was going to make IP any faster at this point and if I find progression there it could inform me a lot better (e.g. flute or something). I found butter sword there and was feeling pretty ok, but because I took the icebreaker route and had no extra small key I had to use my green potion for Kholdstare and I got hit twice leading to a death.
For a while everything else was straightforward -- did TT, VOO, smithy chain, purple chest, into Agina (book) and full clear DP. At this point I decide to finish IP so I can do pyramid fairy (nothing). I just need bow and hookshot and I'm trying my best to avoid a double dip -- I even check spike cave, ether tablet, superbunny cave, and bottom chest in hookshot cave, and took a peek at TR (not accessible).
Decided to go to PoD/EP first. Of course I had no potion so I couldn't get the hookshot. Of course, bow is in SP........ughhhhhh.
So I had go mode, but at that point everything just started slipping. I went down into the PoD basement without a small key, missed the armos quick kill, messed up a GT room or two, and realized on phase 4 of Ganon that I had only one silver arrow left and had to do the rest silverless.
TL;DR - I used my green potion in IP so I didn't have one when I went to PoD. The seed responded by trolling me with hookshot being bowlocked in PoD, and bow being in SP. Ugh.
