That's right, I played as many levels as I could play before having enough of the ads throughout. This game was pretty fun, and can become pretty addictive. That is if you don't mind the ads. My push to continue on playing was the fact that I wanted to review Amaze for the channel. I have been seeing ads for this game from many other games, and I wanted to try it for myself. I do not regret giving it a go. However, there are way too many ad breaks. Not that they come in at the wrong time, but to give you an idea of what I went through, I played for 20 or so minutes, and I had over 20 ad breaks. Now that might not seem too bad, but when you can't time them in order to pause the recording, or even put the phone in airplane mode, it creates a tedious task of having to find them to edit them out.

For this review, I don't mind the editing so much, but if this were to be a regular game I would play for the channel, that would eat up a lot of time for this one game alone. Unfortunately, while this game has its place, there are so many other cool games out there that allows me the freedom that I want right now. So, on to what this game is about. It's a cool take on maze solving. You have to find a way to color the whole maze path in order to complete the level. It's a pretty straight forward game. Just tap the little ball and glide it up, down, over, and around to add color to the screen. You get to work towards more challenging mazes, as well as upgrading your ball character.

I did the best I could to try to seam everything together after editing out all the ad breaks. Unfortunately, I did have a few issues keeping every level in a rhythm throughout. Some will pop up faster than others. I hope that doesn't distract you for enjoying the gameplay. Since this is a review, I have to rate it. So, considering all the things I had to deal with, and how unnecessary the steady flow of ads are, I will be giving Amaze a rating of a "C" out of my rating scale of an A: meaning I will be playing it again for sure, B: meaning I might play it again, if I just want to play something, or C: meaning see you later alligator, it wasn't as fun as I had hoped.

Now I know this might seem a bit harsh, since I did say it was fun in the beginning. I meant that. My ratings aren't meant to deter anyone from giving the games I review a try, in fact I hope you go try them out for yourself, and see how you like them. Amaze is a fun maze game to have at your finger tips whenever you need something to do while you wait. But for this review, I had to take in everything I encountered. The blank screen when returning back from the ad breaks, the constant ad breaks, the lack of offline availability if you just so happen to be without Wi-Fi or data. Seeing what awesome games are available out there, for free may I add, these are not things you have to put up with unless you just want to. Now I'm on the hunt for other maze solving games. I want to see if I can find one offering me a better experience than Amaze. While Amaze comes with a decent design and gameplay, it might be tough to beat it, but it won't hurt to search anyway! I'll keep you posted on what I find. #amazepuzzle #mobilegaming #gamingreview #casual
