Ambient, Relaxation, Calmness and Sound Therapy on Android OS-Part 2
0Hello. In part 2 of my videos on some sound, ambient and calmness apps on the Android OS, I dive into taking a looking at a few more apps that you might like to know about.
First up is Blue Sleep Therapy. While not a sound related app, it uses blue light spectrum visuals to help fix your body's internal clock that gets severely out of whack when constantly looking at TVs, monitors and other electronic screens all day. You can use it in conjunction with any sound app that won't shut off if you swap out of it. After that, we move into Calm Radio which is an app that contains several radio streams. While all might not be 100% relaxing, some of the streams specialize in it and the variety is rather big.
Dream Sounds is up next. Most of the sounds are decent in this mid-tier quality app. The highlights in this one are the rain related ones. The thunderstorm is solid as well as a few others. Moz waves is up next which is a one sound app but one of the only ones that has somewhat of a dynamic screen. It's only one sound but actually a good one. After that, I hit up MyClockStation which has some built in sounds. Some are good, some are very short in terms of loop time. It'd be nice if you could set a sound and go back to the clock. Relax and Sleep is next with an AMAZING variety of sounds that you can layer together to create almost any atmosphere. Relax Melodies Premium gets a little more video time from the first video. Rise up Alarm Clock follows with a large amount of radio stations sorted by genre and some built in background sounds.
Sleep Sounds is unique in the fact that you can set an entire program for your sleep. You can have it do one sound for a relaxation period, another for the meat of your sleep and a sound to wake up to. It also allows you to use your own music. White Noise is the last app featured. The rain/water ones in this are very good and it has some other background sounds like fire, trains and more.
