I show and explain how to tweak a AMD FX CPU for single thread, single core, multicore performance gain,

I also explain and show how to permanently enable Core Boosts to run 100% with out have the CPU Flex Frequency on the fly.

Each FX chip will have different Core Boost Max Speeds. Please Google your CPU specs before tweaking cpu.

Laptop, tablets and mobiles most likely don't have these options.

*** Please make sure you have proper Cooling with in the case, as well a good aftermarket heat sink and fan before manual forcing CoreBoost on 24/7.

***** if you have no idea what is, or how to use or configure a bios. Don't try this.
----------------

I like to state again ..over and over.. that yes for AMD FX chips and AMD CPU based on the 2 Cores for a Modular arch. that disabling 1 core per a unit DOSE indeed increases performance across the board.

Unless your pc requires a lot of multitasking, Multi threads/cores such as video rendering, etc. Then I don't suggest disabling the cores but I do strongly suggest locking down the core boost and manual setting speeds .

Used In Video.
*** AMD FX 8120 8 Core ***
***Operations Specs for OEM Heat sink and fan***
Normal Feqs 3.1 Ghz x8 cores
FullBoost Feqs 3.4 GHZ x8 cores
HalfBoost Feq s 4.0 Ghz x4 Cores
