Today YouTube user GGPC (Good Gaming PC) uploaded videos demonstration the performance of AMD's new Polaris chip the RX 480. The videos have since been removed, but GGPC uploaded benchmarks for DOOM 2016, Witcher 3, CS:GO, Overwatch, and GTA V. Using a Core i5 6400 CPU the benchmarkes showed similar performance to our GTX 970 cards with similar settings (most very high and ultra settings.) Aside from GTA V all games had no issue staying north of the magical 1080P/60 mark 99% of the time. Can AMD's budget minded RX 480 put a dent in the behemoths that are the GTX 1070 and 1080?
