Amygdala S14 Pt3 Let's Play Bloodborne
The boss of the nightmare frontier is none other than Amygdala, and it looks like the other Amygdala we've seen thus far. Meaning ugly beyond all mortal comprehension, as is the eldritch abominations' birth right.
Seriously though Amygdala is a very fun fight! A little annoying with it's 6-8 (I didn't count) hands which seemingly always strike right where you are. Positioning is tricky this time, and that makes it all the more fun.
Phase 1 is funny enough the hardest one in my opinion. It's legs aren't softened up yet and take beans for damage. It jumps toward and will try and land on you dealing massive damage, sweeps in wide arcs in front and below it. I think I remember it's back hands even sweeping behind it once or twice.
Phase 2... I don't really know. I'm not sure if this is the phase it rips it's arms off or not. I might have skipped a phase somewhere with my strategy. Regardless, it's head is it's weakpoint. Taking almost double damage. When I was co-oping earlier I was doing 267 to arms, and around 520 on the head with Ludwig's L2.
Phase 3 is actually the easiest I think because in this phase when it jumps, it jumps AWAY from you facing away when it lands usually. Meaning you can easily sprint over and get a hit in quickly, usually resulting in it leaping again. Rinse and repeat. Easy peasy.
